'Marilyn Monroe' visits D&H London atelier

Hollywood icon 'Marilyn Monroe'* took a break from filming at Pinewood Studios in London to pay a visit to her friends at luxury leather dog collar maker 'Dogs & Horses'.** Take a look at the incredible archival footage below.

D&H is a London-based maker of traditionally handcrafted leather dog collars, leads, accessories and more. The company is a favourite among the dog-owning glitterati from LA to New York, London Paris Monaco and places in between. Their products have appeared on the cover of The Sunday Times Style Magazine and featured in blockbuster films like Kingsman The Secret Service.

The afternoon sunshine filtered through the office windows as the Hollywood glamour girl made the rounds, visiting members of the Production team and, most importantly, the dogs. The dogs were on-site to be measured for their very own tailor-made leather dog collar and lead sets.

There were plenty of giggles and hugs and wagging tails among Miss Monroe's adoring fans. And just a little bit of envy too as a member of the team, whose birthday it was, enjoyed a solo Happy Birthday serenade from the screen legend. Miss Monroe has starred in such timeless (ahem) 'classics' as Some Like It Hot and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
