I am delighted as ever with the quality of workmanship and both my mini wire-haired dachshunds look very smart in their Dogs and Horses collars and leads. I will be back to purchase the next size up in collar from you when my puppy grows out of the one she is currently wearing!
I’ve just ordered my secund lead and Poo Bag Dispenser for my Iggy. The quality is very good and the colors are beautiful. Finally I found Poo Bag Dispensers that I don’t loose all the time.

I’ve just ordered my second set of collars for my two dogs. Their previous collars from Dogs and Horses lasted superbly well and always looked very smart. I have two terriers that like doing terrier things, only good quality and British made could tolerate the nonsense my dogs get up to.
As mentioned in my previous review, I still have not received my order which I placed over a month ago; please stop asking me to review products which I have paid for and still not received! You should be using your resources to track my order rather than asking for a review every week!

We have had some struggles with orders into Canada potentially because of the national postal strike which may have put additional pressure on UPS and other couriers especially during the Christmas period. We are not being complacent about this and I apologise the automated email asking for a review assumed you would have received by now. Shipping into Canada isn't ordinarily a problem but the UPS tracking link does have a message apologising for the delay alongside more details. Thanks for your understanding and your support of a family-run small business championing individually handmade leather dog collars as a counterpoint to behemoths like amazon and mass manufacturing. Beautiful quality leather collar and lead. Super soft and a perfect fit for my 6 month old whippet puppy with some growing room too.
Collar and lead set arrived on Christmas Eve. I had ordered on the 6 Dec so did take the 10 working days from order to despatch as quoted on the site. These are beautifully made and superb quality. The padded collar is so soft next to skin and the lead is a lovely length for the mad scotty. Don't hesitate order your best friend a set you will not regret it.

These are my second and third set of collars and leads, one in aqua and the other one in red. I bought my first green one set a year ago and I cannot be happier. They are sturdy and amazingly sewn, to the point that when my dog has biten them he has not break it to pieces as with others. The best I had in years. Totally recommended. Thank you guys!💕

I have been using the purchased collar on my dog (Dalmatian) for several weeks now. It is not only exceedingly pleasing to the eye (tan and merlot colour) but extremely well constructed. Although my dog is generally well behaved whilst attached to his lead, he can forget himself, from time-to-time, and make a sudden ‘jolt’ for something that catches his eye, whither it be the sudden and unexpected appearance of an other dog or a loose leaf blowing along the pavement. This naturally means a sudden strain on his collar because it is being restrained by his lead. The padding in his collar allows me to exercise the appropriate control without undue discomfort to his neck on the infrequent occasions that this is necessary. The leather used in the manufacture of the collar is clearly of good quality and of good dimensions (width and thickness) and is complimented by good ironmongery used for the buckle and other fastenings. All the component parts of the collar are then formed into one item by strong professional stitching prior to completion.
When the collar arrived, by post, it was contained in it’s own cloth carrier which I have since utilised as a dry treat carrier for my dog on our walks.
To summarise I would say that the collar may be a little more expensive than one would expect to pay at the local pet shop and it may take a little longer to arrive than a ‘fast food’ delivery but it is worth the wait and worth the money for such a practical, quality and aesthetically pleasing item to give to your dog.

The heavier tan leather will darken and gain character over time, forming a patina to tell the stories of many miles and adventures. The Merlot (burgundy) I agree, it's a classic, striking and elegant shade. And I'm sure looks v smart on your Dalmatian! As for the distraction of a random leaf caught by the wind, I can relate! One of my dogs had to stop and inspect every fallen leaf on the pavement or the green. Autumn-Winter walks could take ages.
Overall I like the harness. I have to be careful taking off to get the neck part over my dog’s ears. Goes on easy but a bit snug coming off because his ears move forward. If it was slightly bigger around neck area would be better.
This is the second collar I’ve bought and the last one is still going strong, just looking a little tired as it is about 6 years old. Love the dark brown with orange padding- very stylish. The customer service is excellent too.
Beautiful quality black leather slip lead bought for my working cocker spaniel. I've had other leads in the past and they just don't last. The best quality is always the cheapest in the long run. I also previously bought a collar, again wonderful quality handmade in the UK. My dog loves it too!
