This confirmation will be provided in writing and may be delivered by e-mail, fax, or letter. Failure to receive an Order Confirmation, dependent on any Personal Data you have provided, is not necessarily indication that an Order has not been undertaken. All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT at the UK rate of 20%. Any additional costs for Postage & Packaging will be displayed prior to order completion. Costs for Postage & Packaging are based on order price, and are as follows.

Discounts
We may offer occasional discounts on our website. The discounts can be applied to products that belong to our standard offering and may not apply to items that are handmade-to-order or bespoke. Only one discount can be applied to an order at a time.

Postage, Packaging & Delivery
P&P for online orders at or above an order value of £95 is FREE in the UK. International carriage varies depending upon destination.
For very large orders, especially if ordering from overseas, please contact us for confirmation of delivery costs PRIOR to completing your order.
Please inspect all Goods at time of delivery, and notify us within 28 days of delivery in the event of any shortage of Goods, or of damage to the Goods.

Please allow 5-7 business days for the delivery of your item. In most cases we can dispatch immediately from available stock in our workshop. Sometimes we'll have to make your order on demand.

Unless otherwise requested, your package will be posted Royal Mail in the UK though we reserve the right to use other domestic couriers as/when required.

Tax & Import Duties
If your billing address is within the European Union, your order will be liable for the VAT at your national rate, which is calculated during checkout (retail list price will not include the VAT and will appear in your local currency). If your billing address is outside the EU, no sales tax will be added to your order. Any customs costs, import duties, or taxes that are applicable locally are the sole responsibility of the customer. They will not be refundable by the company in the event of Goods being cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
If the delivered Goods are deemed unsuitable, please notify us within 28 days of delivery. We will replace them or provide a full refund, and the Customer shall accept liability for the cost of return. Barring faulty goods, we do not refund return costs if you have an issue with the finish, metal fittings used, colour (where the colour may not be accurate to the colour represented on your screen). Refunds are processed against the original payment method and will appear in your account within 5 - 10 business days.
If Goods are damaged or faulty, please notify us within 28 days of delivery. We will repair or replace them without charge, or provide a full refund, and we shall accept liability for the cost of return where such costs do not exceed reasonable expectations.
We do not accept liability for the postage of international orders returned to us because of sizing issues or if the customer deems the product unsuitable.

Bespoke Requests
Requests for items that are made bespoke normally require a £20 fee in addition to our normal list price but this may vary depending on the circumstances. For example, if we need to interrupt our normal production workflows, you may be charged the full bespoke fee. If your item can be added without much additional time/effort, we may request less for the bespoke fee and/or waive the bespoke fee altogether (eg. swapping out brass fittings for silver fittings is usually fine at no additional charge). Any questions, please don't hesitate to ring us directly on 020 7018 0175 and/or send us an email: hello@dogsandhorses.co.uk.

Product Warranty
We are confident in the quality of our product and can provide a lifetime guarantee on our stitching only. We are unable to provide a guarantee on the condition of the leather because leather is a natural product and subject to exposure to elements, handling and treatment that are outside our control (for example, if you allow your dog to swim repeatedly wearing a leather collar, the leather will deteriorate; likewise if you don't maintain the leather regularly with a restorative; or your dog races through brush and plays with other dogs that may scratch or damage the leather). With regular care and treatment, leather will last a long time - but it's also subject to fair wear and tear. We're happy to consider and look at what it possible if your item needs to be repaired but try to keep this within a reasonable timeframe, eg two years (the product will last a long time of course but much of this will depend on your regular care and treatment of the leather and the conditions to which the leather is subjected).

Privacy Policy & Use Of Personal Data

We will not share, sell or distribute your personal data to unrelated 3rd parties, unless such parties have undertaken to act for us in accordance with the purposes for which the data was originally collected. The company will not abuse any personal data that is submitted, but cannot guarantee such data against malicious use if obtained illegally by a 3rd party, or offer indemnity for any such abuse.
