For our part, we're truly humbled by the accolades. We set out from day one to provide strong, secure, comfortable and stylish accessories for dogs and their owners - and to make these locally ourselves instead of outsourcing to a third-party or overseas.
We started this journey more than 15 years ago. We would take our products to various shows and events - like Crufts, horse trials like Burghley or Windsor, county shows and more. Then we made D&H available through a few selected shops, and online.
From the beginning we catered to dog owners who share our values to 'buy well, buy once' and appreciate British-made authentic artisan craftsmanship with modern design flair. Our old school craftsmanship combined with new school design and values is a rejection of outsourced mass-manufacturing in a faraway land of opaque labour rights and environmental standards. Instead, when you and your dog choose D&H, it's a celebration of British design and British manufacturing to the highest standards.
