Constructed with a full-grain hide leather outer strap with soft padded Italian leather lining in a selection of classic and contemporary colours. Solid brass or nickel-plated (silver) load-bearing fittings.**
Option to pair with a 'Big Dog' leather dog lead with heavy-duty trigger hook.
SIZING - the main body of the collar is the following widths, including the padding. The width of the strap narrows at the section where the buckle is secured.
Size Medium - total length 50cm (not including the buckle). Width approx 4cm. To fit neck size approx 35-40cm.
Size Medium Large - total length 55cm. Width approx 4cm. To fit neck size approx 41-45cm.
Size Large - total length 60cm. Width approx 4,5cm. To fit neck size approx 46-50cm.
Size X-Large - total length 65cm. Width approx 4,5cm. To fit neck size approx 51-55cm.
Size XX-Large - total length 70cm. Width approx 4,5cm. To fit neck size approx 56-60cm.

Like our best-selling padded leather collar, features a full-grain hide leather outer strap and soft padded leather lining.
Solid brass or nickel-plated (silver) brass fittings.
The extra width of the collar protects the dog's windpipe if/when walked on the lead because there is both padding and surface area for pressure to radiate across.

Care Instructions
A cleaning with dubbin or saddle soap, then buffed up with a leather restorative like Neat's Foot Oil or a beeswax product (e.g. Renapur or Leather Genie) will help restore the leather to its natural lustre and protect it against the elements.
To help ensure the longevity of your dog's leather collar, allow to air-dry (not on a radiator) after it gets wet and ensure it is dry before re-using.
Do not allow the leather to come into contact with the chemicals from commercially-available flea spot-on treatments. This will damage the leather and may cause the dye to run.
I bought two big dog collars: black/black/brass and brown/cream/brass for our 30kg lab x white shepherd. I was concerned about our dog’s strength when she pulls and so the collars were further reinforced in the workshop according to our discussions, giving me more comfort. The collars are beautiful, excellent quality and sturdy as expected. I have not seen anything else like it, even from companies who appear to do something similar. The quality and service is excellent - well worth the money.
