We are proud to introduce the D&H Horizon Hound Collar. Handcrafted from the finest soft Italian leather, soft suede lining, finished with gold or silver fittings, and featuring a signature contour 'horizon' through the middle.
Available in 5 sizes suitable to Italian Greyhound through to Whippet, Lurcher and Greyhound.
This collar is made-to-order. Please allow an additional day or two for us to make it before we are able to send to you (we promise the wait is worth it!)
Please note: this collar is 'lighter' (made all of reinforced soft leather), suitable for Whippets, Saluki, Afghan Hound. It is not suitable for heavier or muscular breeds when we typically recommend a collar made with a heavier/thicker hide leather better to support their weight and strength.

Smaller dogs, allow at least one finger wriggle room. Medium dogs, two fingers. Big dogs, three.

A cleaning with dubbin or saddle soap, then buffed up with a leather restorative like Neat's Foot Oil or a beeswax product (e.g. Renapur or Leather Genie) will help restore the leather to its natural lustre and protect it against the elements.
To help ensure the longevity of your dog's leather collar, allow to air-dry (not on a radiator) after it gets wet and ensure it is dry before re-using.
Do not allow the leather to come into contact with the chemicals from commercially-available flea spot-on treatments. This will damage the leather and may cause the dye to run.
This is my fourth collar/leash set I ordered and I love all of them! The quality is great - my first purchase is still going strong after three years of wear and tear.

I am very impressed with my entire experience from D&H. My Whippet was between sizes so I contacted customer services and they were brilliant. They were able to add a note to the order to add in two extra holes in the collar. It fits perfectly and the leather is soft and expertly made. We also purchased a lead which is also lovely and we often get compliments of how lovely the collar and lead look. Very happy customers and I will definitely use again!
