Materials
Made of soft European leather battle-tested against the elements.
Colour-fast (will not leech dye onto your dog's coat)*
Solid brass or nickel-plated (silver) solid load-bearing fittings to ensure strength of the collar and security of your dog.
*do not allow the leather to come into contact with chemicals from liquid flea treatments
Care Instructions
A cleaning with dubbin or saddle soap, then buffed with a leather restorative like Neat's Foot Oil or a beeswax product (e.g. Renapur or Leather Genie) will help restore the leather to its natural lustre and protect it against the elements.
Leather and Water. To help ensure the longevity of your dog's leather collar, allow to air-dry (not on a radiator) after it gets wet and ensure it is dry before re-using. Treat with a leather restorative, as above. Although we seal the edges, water can still infiltrate the leather and cause it to deteriorate (cleaning with a damp cloth and a mild non-abrasive cleaner is also fine though always advisable to test to ensure colour does not lift).
Metal fittings. Brass will tarnish as it's exposed to air or damp conditions. Allowing the brass to tarnish or form a patina is called 'living brass'. Which some people enjoy. But to restore the shine, simply treat brass or other metals with a metal cleaner (eg. Brasso). Do not allow your dog to breathe in the fumes from metal cleaners.
Regular Inspection. We encourage regular hands-on inspection and cleaning of your items to ensure against wear and tear and to ensure the comfort and security of your dog.
Do not allow the leather to come into contact with the chemicals from commercially-available flea spot-on treatments. This will damage the leather and may cause the dye to run (this applies to all leather - including car seats or leather upholstered furniture).
I am absolutely delighted with this dog collar and lead set! The design is beautiful and the material is incredibly soft, which makes it really comfortable for my dog to wear. The quality is outstanding — you can immediately tell it’s well made and built to last.
My dog looks so smart wearing it, and we’ve already had so many compliments on our walks. The lead feels sturdy yet comfortable to hold, and the collar fits perfectly without being stiff or bulky.
I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for something stylish, high-quality, and comfortable for their dog. It’s definitely worth every penny!
Lovely orange collar and suitably thin for a small dog. Great quality and colour.
Definitely recommend this company , the collars are beautiful
Beautiful collar, in a fab bright orange colour that suits my Shih Tzu to a T, seems well made from quality leather.
I was happy with the choice of colours and fixings and it's really nicely made
